Following the Introductory Session, if you are ready to begin charting, you will need to purchase initial materials for $40 which include: chart, stamps and user manual (inperson learning). If learning via distance materials are $60.00 which include: chart, stamps, user manual and picture dictionary. A follow up appointment for one-on-one instruction with a FertilityCarePractitioner will be scheduled for 2 weeks later. FCCKC is a non profit organization featuring the best treatment in women's reproductive health, we encourage all women to chart their cycles to monitor and maintain their own gynecological health.
Adhering to the organized follow-up schedule is paramount to the client/couple learning the system and quickly gaining confidence in its use.
The first four follow-ups are each two weeks apart, the fifth is one month later, and the remaining three are each three months apart. This schedule can be adjusted according to the client’s individual needs. We've discovered that frequent follow ups in the beginning help people to learn and quickly gain confidence in the system.
After the first year, when the client/couple is comfortable and confident in using the system, a follow-up is recommended every six months to a year.
Follow-up is also available any time the client’s needs change. The FertilityCare Practitioner is available for questions/guidance in the interim.
Cost of the program:
The cost can vary depending on each client's needs. The average cost for the first year is $400: $40 for the Introductory Session, $40 per Follow up(on average 8 Follow ups), and $40 for inperson initial materials or $60.00 for distance materials. All subsequent years we suggest one to two Follow ups a year, $40- $80 with any additional materials needed to be purchased through the website. A sliding scale fee is also available upon request.
How long does it take to learn the Creighton Model?:
Most clients have a solid understanding of charting basics within the first two months of charting. However, if you have irregular cycles or many health concerns, it can take longer to increase confidence in the method. We recommend that engaged couples start follow ups six months prior to their wedding. However, we are happy to work with you no matter what your timeline is.
Medical Issues/Infertility:
If you are experiencing gynecological issues or struggling with infertility, you have come to the right place. Please know that most NaPro doctors request two months of charting before they begin diagnosis and treatment.
